STUDENT ENTRY GUIDELINES

The Entrant must be a high school or college student enrolled in an interior design program during completion dates.

ENTRY POLICIES
All entries, including images, become the property of the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter. The Entrant certifies that they grant permission to publish all images included. The Entrant is solely responsible for any errors or omissions in the information supplied. Failure to comply with the rules in The Entry Guidelines may result in rejection of the submission. Registration fees will not be refunded. To maintain anonymity, no names of entrants or other identifying information should appear on any part of the pictorial submission or in the project description.

PROJECT LOCATION AND COMPLETION DATES
There are no restrictions on project location, only restrictions on design firm location listed above. However, projects must have been completed after August 2021 – December 2023.

Provide a concise concept statement* (will be used for publication and read aloud if project wins) Provide Project Narrative*: BEST - Brilliantly Executed Spaces and Thinking evolves from a strong concept, process and project story. Tell us your story. Each project is unique, and we want to learn how your project conveys these attributes and how your firm got there. The statement should address project constraints and challenges, client objectives and should convey your overall concept. (No more than 400 words, and reminder not to include design firm’s name.) 

SUBMITTAL FORMAT
Submit at least three (3) and no more than five (5) JPEG image renderings of the project design (dpi of 300 with a maximum file size of 2.5 MB each) with the Entry Form. In addition to renderings, a floor plan is required as well as any key elevations, plans, or FF&E selections that give a sense of the overall project area for a total of no more than ten (10) JPEG images overall. Do not include images that reveal the name/identity of the designer. The file names for the images must include the Project Name and must be numbered sequentially. Each project will be represented at the Awards event by a single image. Award recipients will have two (2) rendered images shown. Please indicate which of the renderings submitted are to be your top two (2) preferences.

Please no tiff files. All images submitted become the property of the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter.
